Marketing Your Senior Service or Home Care Agency? What Are You Doing with that BOOK of Testimonials?

What do you do with testimonials from families and clients?

  • “We have a big binder of testimonials that we show new families.”
  • “I have tons of thank you notes, but they aren’t very organized”
  • “I get lots of emails that say great things about our services, but no one else sees them but me- I just don’t have time to do anything with them.”
  • “Frankly we get tons of great testimonials, but I have no idea what to do with them.”
  • “Sometimes we post them on our own website”

Does this sound like you? Probably. Everyone is busy. We know that. Keeping your testimonials hidden from the general public is like telling your biggest cheerleaders to “QUIET DOWN- SHHHH, we don’t want anyone to know how good we really are!”

Great Horrible Story: We got a call from a client who was frantic about a horrible review on Google Places. She could not identify the person who left the review, and could not get it off of her account. She was on the FIRST PAGE OF GOOGLE with one crappy review. 1 STAR.

Turns out after some investigation we found out that another home care provider in her town had set up a FAKE GOOGLE ACCOUNT and left horrible reviews on ALL of the other home care agencies Google Places pages except their own.

We reported this to Google, but they never did anything about it. We even sent proof that this was fraudulent. A year later it’s still there.
