My 88 year old Mother has spent the majority of her life taking care of others. She has become so used to her role as the care-taker of others, I was afraid that she would be very reluctant to having someone help take care of her. My wife and I have been the sole source of that care, but with us both still working, we were not capable of providing the level of care that she so deserves. Most of her friends and relatives her age have passed on and she spent most of her time alone in her home. She has been diagnosed with vascular dementia, and having someone provide not only physical care, but providing cognitive stimulation will help slow her mental decline.. She now no longer drives her own car, and care-providers from Tenderhearted Home Care take her shopping for groceries and medications, but also to the local thrift shops. Her care-givers are now her friends, and I feel so relieved that they have been here for her as well as me. I highly recommend their services!
